“Originally from Milwaukee, Emma moved to Arizona in 2014 to attend Arizona State University. While receiving her undergrad in Psychology, she discovered the practice of yoga. She completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2018 while completing her bachelor’s degree, and has been teaching yoga ever since. Since then, she has received 300 additional hours of training in northern India, worked in various studios throughout the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, led retreats, workshops and events, and assisted in yoga teacher training programs. She began working with the Kansas City Royals Baseball Club in 2022, and her mission is for athletes to leave the mat feeling better than they did when they arrived, and discover their strength and confidence through the practice of yoga. Between all the training athletes already do, she saw a gap in the injury prevention area. Instead of waiting for injury, stress, or overuse to occur, why not train the mind and body using the practice of yoga? Breathing practices, meditation, and yoga asana are some of the tools she uses for students to cultivate mind-body awareness and unlock their full potential, on the mat and on the field.”
